We’re proud to announce our recent membership to the Independent Healthcare Providers Network (IHPN), a step that aligns us with the leading voice for independent healthcare providers in the UK.
The IHPN is the only membership network representing independent healthcare providers across a diverse range of services, including acute care, primary and community care, clinical home healthcare, and diagnostics.
Joining IHPN comes at a critical time as the network recently brokered a historic deal with the government to reduce the growing NHS waiting lists by leveraging the capacity and expertise of the private sector.
This agreement reflects a strong collaboration between independent providers and the NHS to ensure patients across the UK receive timely access to healthcare services, including diagnostics and radiology.
The deal, which you can read more about here aims to address the challenge of long waiting times for treatments, diagnostic tests, and consultations—an issue that has been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. By enabling the independent sector to work hand-in-hand with the NHS, this partnership will increase access to essential services, reduce delays, and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
As a leading provider of radiology management solutions, we’re excited to contribute to this initiative. With extensive experience in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging solutions – both hardware and staffing – RMS is well-positioned to play a crucial role in alleviating the backlog of diagnostic imaging scans.
Our membership of the IHPN marks an important milestone for RMS as we step up to support the NHS in addressing the challenges it faces with waiting lists. By offering our diagnostic expertise and advanced radiology services, we can make a meaningful difference in reducing wait times for essential imaging, ensuring patients receive the care they need faster
We’re proud to be part of the IHPN’s efforts to support the NHS in delivering the highest standard of care to patients and reducing waiting times. As part of this wider network, we will continue to innovate, expand, and offer diagnostic services to help create a more efficient and accessible healthcare system for everyone.
