We’re pleased to announce that RMS, in partnership with Medisapace, has secured a contract to staff and manage a Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) for a Lincolnshire-based NHS Trust. This collaboration confirms our commitment to helping the NHS to deliver bespoke imaging solutions that address the needs of NHS Trusts, helping to swiftly reduce radiology waiting lists.
Under this new contract, RMS’s team of radiographers and clinical support workers will manage the CT waiting lists through the CDC mobile unit. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of diagnostic services in the region, ensuring that patients receive timely and accurate diagnoses.
Community Diagnostic Centres are key to the modernisation of diagnostic healthcare delivery. By bringing diagnostic services closer to the community, NHS Trusts can alleviate the pressure on their own facilities and improve patient access to essential health services. RMS plays a crucial role in this transformation by offering comprehensive support in staffing and managing these centres.
Our goal is to provide the highest standard of diagnostic imaging expertise and care for NHS Trusts and their patients, while significantly reducing waiting times. We’re excited to bring our staffing solution to the Lincolnshire community, ensuring patients receive timely and accurate CT scans and diagnoses.
This contract marks a significant milestone for RMS as we continue to expand our support for NHS trusts across the Midlands. We’re committed to delivering bespoke solutions that enhance the quality and efficiency of radiology services, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
