RMS, the leading diagnostic imaging specialist, is pleased to report that its team has received consistent 5-star feedback from NHS patients having a CT or MR scan.
Going for an MRI or a CT scan can be challenging for many people, fear of small spaces, the procedure itself and worry about the results mean that many patients dread getting a scan. RMS’s team of radiographers and clinical support workers work hard to help their patients be as relaxed as possible – really taking the time to explain the procedure and taking care in its implementation.
Partnering with Working Feedback, the independent review and feedback company, RMS has collected patient feedback since January 2021. A selection of personal comments from some of the NHS patients who have been scanned by the teams across the North West and Wales include:
The two radiographers (Ellie W. J. and Lee C) could not have been any more kind and reassuring. They made an unpleasant procedure the very best it could possibly be. The newer scanner was fantastic compared to a previous experience many years ago. But my positive experience was mainly down to the amazing staff. Thank you
Best MR I have had, excellent explanation, helpful to know how long each scan would be, regular check in and warm and friendly operators. Also ran perfectly to time. Great service, could not ask for more!
Simply amazing! My 5-year-old son had a scan on his head and he was so scared but Kenny was just wonderful with him. He took the fear away for my little boy and turned it into an adventure. I can’t thank him enough!
Clinical Director Bill Bailey commented “We are pleased that our team is so highly regarded by our NHS patients. Having a CT or MRI scan can be an overwhelming experience for many people. Our team work hard to make the scan as relaxing as possible – putting patients’ minds at ease. We ask for feedback so that we can improve our service and we read and consider every review.”
RMS has a team of over 200 radiographers and assistants fulfilling over 500 shifts at NHS Trusts a week, and partners with many NHS Trusts and private hospitals to help reduce radiology waiting lists across CT, MR and Ultrasound.
RMS work closely with a Trust to deliver a solution to benefit patients and reduce waiting lists, typically including a mix of increasing the opening hours of a radiology department as well as providing and staffing solutions and mobile or modular MR and CT units on site.
