Bill Bailey retires from RMS

RMS moves into next growth phase as co-founder Bill Bailey retires

Radiology Management Solutions (RMS) is entering an exciting new phase of growth following the decision by co-founder and Clinical Director, Bill Bailey, 61, to retire after more than a decade at the helm.

Although travel-loving Bill won’t be disappearing into the sunset just yet – he’ll remain on speed dial in a board advisory capacity and will, no doubt, be eager to continue applying his world-class expertise by covering the occasional shift.

Since co-founding RMS in 2013, Bill has been instrumental in helping to build the business into one of the UK’s most trusted outsourced radiology partners, recognised for delivering Diagnostics Everything™  – from MRI and CT to ultrasound, Fibroscan and post-mortem imaging, with a commitment to clinical excellence and outstanding, five-star patient care.

Bill’s decision to retire marks a natural milestone in the company’s journey, creating the opportunity to restructure, elevate existing team members into key leadership roles, and bring exceptional new talent into the business. Reflecting on his time at RMS, Bill commented:

“It’s been an extraordinary journey to co-found RMS and see it grow into what it is today. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together and look forward to supporting the company in its next phase, and seeing the team take it even further.”

With a clear vision for the future, RMS is building on its strong foundations to deliver innovative, trusted, and patient-focused diagnostic services to NHS and private healthcare clients across the UK and, increasingly, internationally
